Sunday - do-it-yourself. Personally I had a bowl of granola! Fancy!
Monday - baked halibut, salad, fruit salad, pinched small, red potatoes (baked, pinched open, salt, pepper, and drizzled w/olive oil)
Tuesday - chicken cakes (like crab cakes, but with canned chicken), cinnamon/sugar apples, quesadillas
Wednesday - ham and cheese turnovers, nectarines, salad
Thursday - oven glazed chicken (YUM! and so easy), something else
Friday - leftover glazed chicken shredded and put over rice, biscuit bites
Saturday - beef taco skillet, ceasar salad, nectarines
This week I went through a bunch of recipes that I had ripped out of magazines, picked out what I wanted to make for the week, and left the pile on the counter. I did my grocery shopping Monday and got everything I needed for the week. Each day I went through the stack and chose what sounded good for that night. I liked this idea - it was a new recipe every night. I didn't think I liked cooking from recipes! Workers this week...I'm going to have to get more creative with my side dishes...the hardest part for me.
