Halloween 09

Boys' Weekend

Rod and Randy got brave and invited their boys for a weekend of camping.
They were "winging" it pretty much the entire weekend due to an unexpected trailer probably on our way over. This is a campground they finally found. The locals called it "Poor Man's Campground." You can see that we are the poorest of them all because the place was empty!
... but beautiful

This is a mountain the boys climbed and wore themselves out. (they are in the picture somewhere!)

Treovn can hardly keep his eyes open, but he's NOT going to bed yet. This is way too much fun!

More boy fun!
They didn't starve and the boys are ready to go again. The dads.....???

Fast learner

Tessa spent half the day trying to get the training wheels off the bike,
Kaylee spent 5 minutes with a little help from Tessa,
and then they called me to come out and watch...
Wow! I guess when you turn 5 you can learn things really fast!

15th Annual Lake Roosevelt Trip

The mighty fisherman
A new adventure mastered - swimming, jumping, floating

A new talent mastered - bubbles! (She also learned to whistle. She was supposed to be going to sleep and I listened to her practice for more than two hours before finally falling asleep. Everytime she got a little louder she checked to see if I was still listening - hard not to in a medium size tent!)

The jumping rocks

Jared, Rachelle and a friend - this was the first rock they jumped from, they got taller!!!

Isn't the water beautiful?

Kaylee got her bravery from you mother...
Not doin' it!

A big hill and HOT sand - they made it to the top eventually. Good thing there was a cool lake at the bottom!
