Tis the season for Tulips!

We live less than 30 minutes from the tulip fields and this is the first year we've ever been there at the right time. Too early one year, too late the next, gave up after that...until now.

I've been April Fooled!

Where are the years when my kids were too young to know anything about April Fools Day or at least couldn't pull off a joke without giving it away first?! I just tucked my kids into bed and came downstairs to finish up the last soaking dish in the sink. The kids had rigged the spayer nozzle to stay on so when I turned on the water I drenched myself and half of the kitchen. (An age old joke first introduced to our family by Dan McLeod in a convention meeting!) As I march out to the garage, dripping wet, to scold my husband, the kids come running out behind me laughing hysterically..."April Fools". Tessa told Trevon to just listen for the "AAHHHH" when they went to bed. Funny!
